CentraCare is now hiring a casual CMA to provide medical care for incarcerated individuals at the Wright County jail in Buffalo, MN. The CMA will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team that provides medical services for inmates within the jail. Inmates may need mental health care, addiction medicine services (including detoxification), basic care for general or acute illnesses or injuries, maternity care, medication management and much more.
Schedule:
Casual minimum of 16 hours every 4 weeks.Pay:
Entry level pay $18.90 per hour Pay Range $18.68 to $28.01 per hour based on years of experience.Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with one of the following: Must provide proof of pass notification prior to start with verification of official certification or registration within 3 months of exam date. American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). American Medical Technologists (AMT). Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA). National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT). National Healthcareer Association (NHA). National Association for Health Professionals, Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA). Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA). Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy. Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.
