Location: Community Family PracticePosition: Certified Medical Assistant
Seeking a friendly and patient-centered Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or LPN to join our family practice. Key Responsibilities:Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, weight, etc.). Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures. Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the physician. Collect and perform basic diagnostic tests (covid test, flu test, urine dipstick, etc.). Conduct EKGs and other diagnostic tests. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using our electronic health records (EHR) system. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.Qualifications:Certification or degree as a CMA or LPN Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare practices. Experience in using electronic health records (EHR) systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills:Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Familiarity with medical software and technology Previous experience working in a family practice or similar healthcare setting.Job Type: Full-time Expected hours: 40 per week
