Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant Job Description We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Maryland. This is a full-time position dedicated to supporting our mission of delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities + Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. + Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and communicating with patients. + Maintain accurate patient records using Athena EMR software. + Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently. + Provide excellent patient care and support, ensuring a positive experience. Essential Skills + Must be a certified medical assistant (CMA). + 1-5 years of experience in a clinical setting. + Proficient in clinical Athena EMR software. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Doctors who have immigrated to America and are now medical assistants do not need to be certified to interview for this role. + Bilingual is a plus (English must be fluent). Work Environment This role is in a primary care setting, working alongside a physician. You must be able to communicate effectively with physicians about patients' vitals and conditions. The practice is rapidly growing with three locations in Maryland, Hagerstown, and Baltimore City. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $21.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
