Certified Medical Assistant

Our client is looking to add Medical assistants to their team at various different locations in Seattle such as:Northgate45th StreetColumbia CityRainier BeachThey are looking for someone that has a passion for helping others. Provide primary care for a population that are mostly low-income and uninsured families and individuals, seniors on fixed incomes, and immigrants. They are looking for someone that is eager to learn and open to utilizing all their skills as a Medical Assistant. Reliability is very important for this position they need someone that can come in Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm and they do have free parking around the building.Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Reviewing patient schedulesTaking patient histories and vitals, cleaning and restocking patient rooms Assisting provider or nurse with examinations or in clinic procedures, including in-room documentation and note-taking to ensure accurate and timely medical recordsSome phlebotomy and lab tests Helping with patient education Assisting with cleaning and restocking shelves

Additional Skills & Qualifications

1-2 years of experience ideal, but willing to take new gradsMA-C preferred, but would consider MA-R for a highly skilled candidate BLS certification

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $25.00
