More than just a role, it's a calling. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you'll be a key member of our healthcare team, working directly with patients and providers to ensure the highest quality of care.  You'll play a vital role in patient wellbeing, from initial assessment to follow-up care.

What you'll do:

Provide comprehensive patient care:  Greet patients, obtain vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, etc.), and prepare them for examinations.Assist with procedures: Draw blood samples, administer medications (oral, injection, topical, etc.), and perform EKGs.Ensure smooth operations: Schedule diagnostic tests, follow up on results, and communicate with patients.Maintain a safe and efficient environment:  Prepare and sterilize instruments, maintain equipment, and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.Accurate documentation:  Meticulously document patient information, test results, and treatment plans in the medical record.Proactive problem-solving:  Identify and escalate any non-routine issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel.Adhere to safety protocols:  Complete required safety checklists and quality control measures.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED

Required Licensure and Certifications:

Current Certified Medical Assistant certificationNon certified Medical Assistant applicants are encouraged to applyAHA Basic Life Support certification within thirty (30) days of hire

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business, periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common factors, and decimals.Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
