Job Description
We are hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for a primary care clinic. This individual will manage the customer flow throughout the clinic and assist providers in the management and treatment of their customers. You will work with patients from varying age demographics. The Medical Assistant receives direction and collaborates with the Clinic Supervisor, Clinic Manager, and Providers to meet the defined goals of the customer, shift, department, and organization. Effective communication with the healthcare team regarding progress, concerns, questions, or problems that arise is an essential element of the Medical Assistant role.
ResponsibilitiesManage the customer flow throughout the clinic.Assist providers in the management and treatment of patients.Perform triage and rooming duties.Take and record vitals.Conduct assessments and gather medical history.Collaborate with the Clinic Supervisor, Clinic Manager, and Providers.Communicate effectively with the healthcare team about progress, concerns, and questions.Additional Skills & QualificationsMedical Assistant Diploma from a nationally recognized programBLS certification from AHA or ARCWork Environment
Work hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. There are no weekend or on-call shifts.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $54080.00
