The Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMA) at Sibley Memorial Hospital is a hybrid role responsibile for ensuring coordination, facilitation, and delivery of quality patient care at Sibley Memorial Hospital in support of members of the Sibley Physicians Group (SPG). Through skilled triage and assessment, education, collaboration and coordination of healthcare and community resources, the Medical Assistant assists patients to achieve optimum functional health status and quality of life. In the role of the Administrative Assistant, individual will facilitate the patient flow on clinic days and ensure that she/he is alternating between administrative and clinical duties, depending on what is necessary on any given day.

Full Time (40 hours)
Day Shift, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
No nights or weekends!
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program requiredLicensure/Certification/Experience:
Completion of CMA certification with the credentials of RMA, NCMA, NRCMA, CCMA or CMAA required prior to hire Valid BLS CPR certification required upon hire; JHH accepts AHA, Red Cross, and military training network Ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of clinical experience of which at least (1) year has been oncology experience (preferred)Why CMAs Love Working at Sibley

Salary Range: Minimum $18.00 per hour - Maximum $29.63 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
