Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and certified medical assistant to join our team. This role involves providing clinical support during patient visits, assisting with procedures, and ensuring patient safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in medical assisting, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to maintain an orderly and efficient department.
ResponsibilitiesPerform required clinical duties when patients are seen at the time of visit.Set up and assist as necessary with procedures and coordinate any special testing or procedures.Track patient results in accordance with practice criteria.Be knowledgeable of emergency procedures.Ensure smooth flow of the department by maintaining orderliness.Provide for patient safety.Essential SkillsActive CMA certificationExperience with medical terminologyProficiency in handling patient informationKnowledge in medical and patient careBLS certificationExperience with EMR systemsSpecialty experience in OBGYN preferredAdditional Skills & QualificationsCustomer service skillsAbility to perform swabbing proceduresWork Environment
The position is based at Penn Ob/Gyn Hillsborough Promenade, 315 US-206 Suite 200A in Hillsborough, NJ. The work hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM. You will be part of a leading provider of healthcare services with a commitment to delivering exceptional clinical care and individualized patient care. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
