CHI Health would love to add a PRN Certified Medical Assistant / Medical Assistant (NOT Med Aide or CNA) to our Millard Family Clinic located off of 153rd & Q! **We are open to hiring ALL titles!** Please apply if you are an EMT/Paramedic or have completed your Medical Assistant degree! Clinic Hours: Monday-Sunday 8a-8p - We are flexible when it comes to scheduling! MUST be able to work at least 36hrs within a 6 week time-frame AND work the week day schedules as needed! **Responsibilities** In healthcare, we all agree that support is a must in order to be successful. This position will support our healthcare teams by ensuring they have everything they need in order to care for our patients. If you have a passion for supporting others and enhancing patient experience, we want to talk to you. **Expectations:** + Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows. + Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows. + Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reason for visit. + Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis. + Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients. + Cleans and sterilizes instruments. + Ensures patient exam rooms are stocked, clean, and orderly. + Escalates non-routine issues, questions and/or concerns timely and appropriately. + Ensures safety checklists and quality controls are completed as required and necessary action taken if indicated. + Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned. **Qualifications** **Minimum Qualifications:** + Graduate of medical assisting program + Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid + Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association + High school diploma or equivalent **Pay Range** $17.89 - $24.60 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
