Certified Medical Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our busy oncology treatment center. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling and rooming patients, taking vitals, documenting information into the EMR system (Centricity), and supporting oncology patients throughout their visits.
Responsibilities
+ Schedule patients for visits.
+ Room patients for their appointments.
+ Work effectively with oncology patients.
+ Take and document patients' vitals in the EMR system (Centricity).
+ Clean and sanitize treatment areas after each patient visit.
+ Check inventory for oxygen tanks, food supplies, and medical equipment, and order as needed.
+ Make follow-up phone calls to patients.
Requirements & Skills:
+ Experience handling difficult patients and situations.
+ Active Certification in Medical Assisting.
+ Ability to manage high patient volumes.
+ Strong attention to detail.
+ Proactive attitude and willingness to assist others.
Work Environment
+ Monday - Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend shifts.
+ You will work directly under 2-3 providers and manage high patient volumes, with around 24 patients per day per CMA.
+ The role offers full benefits including medical, vision, and dental coverage, 401k, and 6 paid holidays
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
