Job Description

The Client Care Specialist (MA-C) will work as part of a close-knit team to meet the needs of patients and enhance the reputation of the organization. This role involves seamlessly transitioning between performing medical assistant clinical functions, such as phlebotomy and HIV/STD testing, and administrative duties, including front office tasks, processing patient referrals, and identifying and verifying insurance coverage. By actively participating in cross-functional rotations and promoting adaptability, you will be developed across multiple healthcare and wellness center functions. Work hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, and Wednesday and Thursday from 11:30 am to 8:30 pm. The role is based at a healthcare center that provides primary care services from trusted HIV specialists in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle. They are an LGBTQ+ friendly healthcare provider, offering a range of services designed specifically for people living with HIV, including treatment, diagnostics, and therapies.

Duration

This is a short-term contract position for 2 months. Currently, there is not a forecast for conversion to a full-time employee (FTE) position.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
