Must have and maintain sufficient strength, agility, and endurance to perform during stressful (physical, mental and emotional) situations encountered on the job.Occasional running when responding to emergencies; must be able to perform BLS.

A background check, security clearance and drug screening are required for this role.

Monitors patient vital signsImplements orders for diagnostic lab tests according to site policy and The Joint Commission and ACA standardsMaintains inventory of suppliesAssists the RN or LVN as needed in the medical unit within scope of practiceMaintains confidentiality of medical recordsDocuments in SOAP format all health-related encounters for patientsRecords EKGs as directed by nurseAssists physician with minor proceduresMaintains and cleans medical unit/equipment on a daily basis and as neededWorks in conjunction with the nurse to maintain daily duties required to run the clinic in an organized fashionAssists with maintaining SENTRY and CorrecTek recordkeepingObtains specimens as directed and in accordance to policies and procedures within the scope of practiceUtilizes infection control techniques in a consistent mannerAttends mandatory monthly staff meetingsCollects data for Quality Improvement programs, as assigned
