Certified Medical Assistant (CMA Float) – Family Care Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant **Sign-On for Eligible New Hires** Work location: 2100 Hedgecoxe, Ste 100, Plano TX, 75025 (CMA may be expected to float through Plano, Allen, Melissa, and/or McKinney) Work hours: Fulltime, Monday – Friday 8am-5pm and 7:30am-5:00pm (occasionally) Internal Medicine Department highlights: Fast paced clinic with multiple providers Great clinic and staff Lunch is occasionally provided for meetings and staff appreciation Here’s What You Need High School Diploma or equivalent (required) CMA - Current Medical Assistant Certification (required) One year of Medical Assistant experience within the last 3 years (required) EMR, Epic experience (preferred) ACLS or BLS (preferred) What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights Ability to multitask May work in the front office as needed May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s) Additional perks of being a Texas Health employee Benefits include 401k, PTO, medical, dental, Paid Parental Leave, flex spending, tuition reimbursement, Student Loan Repayment Program as well as several other benefits.
