Description:Work Hours for position: Monday & Wednesday 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM,

Tuesday & Thursday 7:30 AM - 7:00 PM.

Position Purpose:
Mercy Care Atlanta is seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our Mobile Unit team. In this role, you will help bring healthcare services directly to underserved communities, performing TB screenings in shelters and soup kitchens while ensuring patients have access to healthcare, education, and preventive services. You will play a key role in supporting clinic functions, linking patients to care, and advocating for their needs.

What You Will Do:

Perform TB screenings and other primary care procedures in community-based settings.

Independently develop and staff clinics, ensuring all operational functions are met.

Provide health education, preventive care, and patient advocacy.

Support linkage services to connect patients with needed healthcare resources.

Participate in health fairs and community outreach events 3-4 times per year.

Deliver care primarily to adults (18-65) and geriatric patients (65+), with occasional pediatric care.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma required; college or technical school preferred.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.

CPR certification required.

Minimum of five years' experience in a healthcare setting.

Experience in training and supervising new employees and volunteers preferred.

Proficiency in both front and back office operations preferred.

Valid Georgia driver’s license and a safe driving record required.
