Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant OBGYN Job Description We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant specializing in OBGYN to join our team. The ideal candidate will greet patients courteously, accurately document in electronic health records, stock examination rooms, and manage medical supplies. This role also involves scheduling appointments, preparing patient charts, and performing other assigned duties. Responsibilities + Greet patients in a courteous manner and bring them back for their appointments. + Accurately document information in patients' electronic health records. + Stock examination rooms and triage areas with necessary medical supplies. + Inventory and reorder medical supplies as needed. + Schedule appointments with doctors, call patients to remind and confirm appointments, and reschedule patients from the bump list. + Schedule residents’ clinics where appropriate. + Prepare charts for the next day, create new patient charts, file and pull charts, and check charts for referrals and authorization prior to visits. + Prepare charge tickets. + Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + Certified or Registered Medical Assistant + 1+ years of experience in women's health + Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically All Scripts + Computer savvy + CPR certified (preferred) Additional Skills & Qualifications + Outgoing and friendly personality + Experience in reproductive medicine and fertility + Skilled in patient intake procedures Work Environment The work environment is a professional medical setting with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8am to 5pm. The patient flow includes 16 patients in the morning and 15 in the afternoon, working with 3-5 providers and another medical assistant.
