We are seeking a detail-oriented, compassionate, and skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our OBGYN & Women’s Health team. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality patient care, performing clinical lab duties, and ensuring seamless teamwork and communication within our practice. What You'll Do: 1. Patient Care – Supporting Women’s Health Needs
+ Be the first smile patients see as you guide them through their OBGYN visit, ensuring they feel welcomed and at ease.
+ Prepare patients for prenatal check-ups, gynecological exams, and postnatal visits by taking vital signs and updating charts.
+ Assist clinicians with OBGYN procedures, ultrasounds, and in-office treatments, ensuring that every patient feels supported and informed.
+ Provide education on family planning, prenatal care, postpartum recovery, and reproductive health in a way that’s easy to understand and empowering.
+ Offer compassionate support to expectant mothers, new parents, and women navigating reproductive health decisions.
2. Clinical Laboratory Duties – Ensuring Safe & Effective Care
+ Perform blood draws, pregnancy tests, and lab procedures with precision, prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
+ Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
+ Ensure lab results are accurately documented and reported to healthcare providers to support patient care.
+ Educate patients on test results and next steps, reinforcing their understanding of maternal and reproductive health.
3. Human Experience – Enhancing Every Woman’s Visit
+ Be an advocate for kindness, innovation, and a positive patient experience.
+ Keep patients informed about wait times and what to expect during their visit.
+ Use patient feedback to continually improve the OBGYN experience, ensuring every woman receives personalized and respectful care.
+ Celebrate diversity and inclusivity, creating an environment where all women feel valued and supported.
+ Walk patients through their pregnancy journey, fertility treatments, or preventive care to ensure they feel confident and empowered.
4. Teamwork & Communication – Supporting Women’s Health Together
+ Work collaboratively with OBGYN specialists, midwives, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional women’s health services.
+ Maintain open, professional communication with colleagues to ensure seamless care coordination.
+ Participate in team meetings, contributing to continuous improvements in women’s healthcare delivery.
+ Help create a positive, team-focused environment, where collaboration leads to better patient outcomes.

Qualifications
+ + Education & Certification Requirements Education:
+ High School Diploma or GED – Required.
+ Must be a graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program, with coursework that includes pharmacology and medication administration.
Certification & Registry:
+ Certification/registry must be obtained within six (6) months of hire, with a signed education agreement.
+ Accepted certifications/registries:
+ CMA – American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
+ CCMA – National Health Career Association (NHA)
+ RMA – American Medical Technologists (AMT)
+ RMA – American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
+ American Registry of Medical Assistants (NHCWA)
+ National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
+ National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)
+ American Allied Health (AAH)
Alternative Pathway – Work Experience Eligibility for Certification:
If not already certified or registered at the time of hire, applicants may qualify for the NHA, ARMA, NHCWA, NCCT, NAHP, or AMT exams through relevant work experience:
+ NHA or NHCWA: Minimum 1 year of supervised medical assistant experience within the last 3 years.
+ NCCT or NAHP: Minimum 2 years of experience within the last 3 years.
+ ARMA: Minimum 3 years of experience within the last 5 years.
+ AMT: Minimum 5 years of experience within the last 7 years, with no more than 2 years as an instructor in a post-secondary medical assistant program.
+ Alternative qualification: Graduate of an Accredited School of Professional Nursing.
+ Experience must include both clinical (including medication administration) and administrative duties.
Experience:
+ Previous medical office experience – Preferred.
Licensure & Certification:
+ Current certification as CMA, RMA, or CCMA – Required (or ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire).
Additional Skills Required:
+ Must successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
