Job Title: Medical Assistant Supervisor

About Us:
Our medical office is seeking a highly motivated and organized Medical Assistant Supervisor to provide clinical supervision and guidance to our medical assistant staff. The ideal candidate will oversee patient flow and clinic operations, ensuring optimal efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to medical assistant staff
- Oversee patient flow and clinic operations to optimize efficiency and patient satisfaction
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff
- Approve timesheets and monitor PTO and overtime
- Manage medical supply inventory and vaccines
- Collaborate with staff to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
- Identify opportunities to continuously enhance the efficiency and improvement of patient care
- Provide coverage for Back Office Medical Assistants when needed
- Oversee and manage Medical Assistant desktops
- Monitor provider schedules, add or block appointments, and reschedule patients as needed
- Ensure adherence to established clinical protocols, procedures, and standards of care
- Enforce all OSHA & HIPAA rules in a clinic setting
Requirements:
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, CRMA) or LVN license
- 3 to 5 years of previous management or supervisory experience within a medical office or outpatient clinic
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Superior customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly motivated and organized
- Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA and OSHA rules and regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of related experience, preferably in a Primary Health Care setting
- Experience with basic desktop software, medical practice management, and electronic medical record systems

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
