Certified Medication Aide

Performs basic nursing tasks and provides accurate medication administration and quality care to the child and maintains a safe environment under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse (RN or LPN). Models expert practice and facilitates orientation to basic resident care for new nursing staff.

Required Qualifications:

Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. Upon hire: Oregon Certified Medication Aide Upon hire: Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License  Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association  Upon hire: In Compliance with the Department of Human Services (DHS), a criminal background check is required for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

One year: Experience as a CMA in a health care setting. Six months: As CMA at the Children's Nursing Center.
