Salary Disclosure Statement

The salary mentioned above reflects the potential base pay range for this role. Bonuses or other incentives (if applicable), are offered separately. Offers will consider such factors as overall experience, job-related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc.

Responsibilities Perform vital signs on residents at beginning of each shift and as directedAssist residents in preparation for health examinationsRecord and document residents’ medical recordSet up and administer medication and immunizations in accordance with physician’s orders and state/federal regulationsDisplay knowledge of side effects, interactions, and nursing implications of common medicationsRead and interpret residents’ medical records and physician ordersMaintain inventory of all medications and report any discrepancies immediatelyCreate a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents and ensure that their needs are metAttend and participate in scheduled training, educational, and orientation programs to maintain certification and enhance quality of careMaintain and work within FutureCare’s established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement and safety programs, and environmental and infection control standards Qualifications Must hold a current certification and CNA license in Maryland as well as a Medication Technician/Aide CertificationPrevious experience as a CMA requiredMust possess a positive and professional attitudeAbility to work well in a team-oriented environmentPrevious experience working in an Assisted Living environment is a plusMust be familiar with medical terminology and documenting in electronic health recordsAbility to communicate effectively with other nursing staff and other departmentsCurrent CPR Certification
