JOB SUMMARY:
As a Certified Medicine Aide, (CMA) at Levindale your role is to Assist residents with ADL, provide basic and more complex nursing care, and assists in maintaining a safe, clean therapeutic environment. Safely prepare, administer, and chart medication, oral, topical and suppository, non-narcotic drugs as ordered by the physician. Notify the Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing of any medication discrepancies. Provide basic nursing care to patients.
REQUIREMENTS:
Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School Diploma, GED equivalent or High School certificate. Less than 1 year of experience. Geriatric Nursing Assistant Certification (GNA), Certified Medicine Aide Certification (CMA), American Heart Association CPR.
