What you will do...Primary responsibilities will include:
Work with a team of information technology professionals for cyber security compliance for SIPRNet enclave and other classified AIS Systems.Apply Secure Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) best practices to classified information systems, networking equipment, and applicable software/applicationsUse ACAS to scan and remediate vulnerabilities in a classified network environmentAssist IT staff with maintaining classified networks, to include configuration change requests, system hardening, and troubleshooting high level issuesResponsible for overall classified network compliance with respect to boundary protection and switch configurations to support government/third party inspections and overall system security postureContribute to the overall safety of our classified networks regarding cyber security and complianceCompliance with Risk Management Framework for DoD NetworksContribute to the overall Information Systems team, and the Navy business unit in adjacent work areas when needed Skills you will need...Requirements:
10+ years of experience as a Certified Network Professional EDUCATION: BSBA degree (Ideally Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems or Computer Science)SECRET Clearance with T5 adjudicationCisco Certified Network Professional or like certification with Juniper, PaloAlto etc.Telework is not available due to classified environment (work schedule can be flexible)Travel is not requiredAbility to work well with a team and complete tasks individuallyExcellent written and communication skillsFamiliar use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Relevant Certifications in Computer security and network securitySecurity + (minimum cyber certification required)Desired Qualifications/Skills:
ACTIVE DoD Top Secret ClearanceExperience with SIPRNet (Full Lifecycle – Accreditation & Operations) Router/Firewall/IDPS experience (Palo Alto / Cisco)Windows, Linux, and/or Cisco CertificationsFamiliarity with RADIUS Server and 802.1X implementationsCCNP, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CASP, CCNA highly desiredFamiliarity with DISA & DCSA policies and procedures as they relate to contractor information systems processing classified informationFamiliarity with the RMF process and the assessment/validation of security controlsFamiliarity with completing a Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M).Applicants for positions which require a US government security clearance must meet eligibility requirements to include US citizenship.
