Required Qualifications
• Licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with the ability to obtain Virginia certification
• Previous professional experience practicing as a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner including performing minor surgical procedures and physical examinations.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and developing treatment plans.
• Ability to recognize emergency medical situations and take appropriate action.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to seek physician consultation when appropriate and relate well to patients.
• Significant years of experience in a clinical setting.

Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge/experience in a college health setting.
• Preference given for experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE).
