Start Date:  ASAP, we have a new employee orientation class starting soonPay Rate:    $17.75-$26.25 depending on experience Shift:  Full-time 8 hour shifts; PM shift Schedule:  3pm-11pm,  with an every other weekend rotation

Joliet Terrace is a 120 bed Intermediate Care Facility (ICF), providing care to the mentally ill/behavior health population (schizophrenic, bipolar, major depression…).  Located in a quiet suburban neighborhood, we are easy to commute to and have a stable team.  What makes us unique:

Job Description

This is an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF).  Residents do NOT require skilled care; your job is a little different here:

Residents are more independentLOVE patient interaction and one-on-one time?  This is a slower paced center so you get to know your patients.This environment has less lifting and less physical demands on your body.You will have the chance to assist and attend activity outings with residents.You may help residents with things like choosing clothing or setting appointments.Overall you will provide compassionate care monitoring to this unique population.

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): officially we title this job a Certified Nursing Assistant, but in other centers it may be called a CNA or Certified Nurse Aide.

What we need from you:

CNA certification in ILPrior experience or desire to work with behavioral population is helpful, but not requiredNew Grads Welcome to apply!
