The Certified Nursing Assistant (Sub-Acute/Transitional) role is a non-licensed health care employee who performs delegated routine and predictable patient care tasks/duties and works under the direct supervision of a Charge Nurse. These duties may include, but are not limited to phlebotomy, EKG's, vital signs, monitoring, basic patient care and transportation. Responds appropriately to patients and families with knowledge of age specific needs based on scope of service of unit/department where assigned (Young Adult through Geriatric).

Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training - Satisfactory completion of basic CPR course (level C). California Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. 6 months - Experience in a skilled nursing facility, medical/surgical and/or working with chronically ill patients.Preferred Qualifications:
