Responsibilities

As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Diversicare, you will have the opportunity to:

Work collaboratively with a team of passionate healthcare professionals to provide exceptional daily care to our patients and residents, Deliver safe and compassionate bedside care and assistance with unwavering integrity.Build strong serving relationships with patients, their families, and other team members, creating a warm and caring environment.Champion quality care and quality of life to create an exceptional customer experience. VanDriver:

 

1. Assure the safety of each resident when transporting to and from the doctor’s office and/or hospital.
2. Accompany each resident on all medical visits. Stay with resident(s) until visit is complete.
3. Observe the following guidelines at each visit:
     a. Sign in resident upon entrance.
     b. Present resident’s documents to office personnel.
4. Before leaving doctor’s office, please observe the following:
     a. Obtain resident’s documents.
     b. Obtain any new prescriptions.
     c. Check to make sure doctor has written on the doctor’s order form.
     d. If follow-up appointment necessary, obtain appointment cards.
5. After returning to facility, report to RCM and be prepared to answer questions concerning visit.
6. Performs other duties as required and assigned.

 

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have:

Certification as a Nursing Assistant in the stateExcellent verbal communication skillsProficiency in reporting with accuracy.Physically able to help ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents transfer to and from wheelchair to vehicle.Possess a valid state driver’s license.Clean driving record.Clean criminal record.Any other state required certifications.
