\nAs a Certified Nursing Assistant, you help patients under a nurse or manager's supervision. Your duties support patient care and well-being.
\nEssential Functions of the Role
\n\nYour primary responsibility will be to maintain the safety and comfort of patients. This includes aiding with mobility and transfers.\nYou will assist in enforcing patient cleanliness and help with their personal hygiene under set procedures.\nPart of your role will include aiding with proper dietary intake for patients, documenting consumed meals, and tracking calorie consumption.\nYou are expected to respond promptly to patient call lights and maintain safety measures at all times.\nYou'll be in charge of administering treatments and recording crucial signs of patients, within the scope of your role.\nYour duties involve maintaining unit equipment, keeping bedside stations tidy, monitoring supplies, and assisting with paperwork on the unit.\n\nKey Success Factors
\n\nCompletion of a training program specific to nursing assistance which is accompanied by a skills checklist.\nFamiliarity with medical terminologies.\nA commendable approach towards patients, characterized by friendliness, reassurance and an approachable demeanor.\nCapability to accurately follow directions from medical professionals, and a well-founded understanding of patient charts and records.\nOutstanding attention to detail.\n\nBelonging Statement

QUALIFICATIONS
\n\nEDUCATION - H.S. Diploma or GED Equivalent\nEXPERIENCE - Less than (1) one year of experience\nCERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION\n\nCert Nurse Assistant (CNA)\nBasic Life Support (BLS) or obtain within (30) thirty days of hire or transfer.\n\n\n
