This Oncology Data Specialist Opportunity is a full-time hybrid position requiring remote and on-site work in Tampa, FL. Team members must reside in Florida.
Responsibilities:
The Oncology Data Specialist analyzes, abstracts, and codes demographic, patient and cancer related information, treatment and staging from the medical records on all cancer cases seen and or diagnoses at designated facility, identifies eligibility of cancer patients in the registry and obtains interesting cases from medical staff and pathologists, prepares agenda for conference and assures that pathology and radiology material for conferences is available. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required High School or equivalent Preferred Associate DegreeExperience
Required 2 years Cancer Services and 2 years Registration OR 1 year oncology related experience with Associate Degree and required ODS certification
