Description We are partnering with a leading construction company to add an experienced Certified Payroll Specialist to their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a background in construction payroll and labor union compliance to make a direct impact on the organization. If you have experience with certified payroll in the construction industry and familiarity with tools like LCPTracker, this role could be a great fit for you! Key Responsibilities: + Accurately manage and process certified payroll for public works and government-funded construction projects. + Ensure compliance with prevailing wage regulations and labor union requirements. + Prepare and submit certified payroll reports using systems such as LCPTracker, eCompliance, or other similar platforms. + Collaborate with project managers and HR to gather necessary labor and compliance data. + Maintain employee records and ensure accurate reporting of hours, wages, and deductions. + Reconcile and resolve any payroll discrepancies in a timely manner. + Audit payroll processes to confirm compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Requirements + Proven experience processing certified payroll within the construction industry. + Familiarity with payroll systems such as LCPTracker, eCompliance, or other certified payroll reporting platforms. + Knowledge of prevailing wage laws and labor union requirements. + Strong understanding of payroll best practices and compliance regulations. + Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills. + Proficiency in payroll or accounting software and intermediate Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs). + Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage tight deadlines.
