UC Health is hiring a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician for Medication Access Services in Pharmacy Administration at University of Cincinnati’s Medical Center. We are offering a $2000 sign-on bonus!
This role is with the Pharmacy Patient Assistance team within Medication Access Services at UC Health. Pharmacy technicians triage and a help enroll patients in assistance programs to enhance affordability of their medications given via infusion, in clinic, or filled at the pharmacy. They work closely with other groups in the Medication Access Services department, clinical teams, providers, patients, and UC Health pharmacies to facilitate and expedite enrollment and drug procurement. Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records. Pharmacy technicians trainees work only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed by only a registered pharmacist.
