Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Status: Hybrid 3 days remote

Job Description:

Contacts patients and/or caregivers to schedule a delivery and determine supply needs; picks and packs medical supplies to fill patient orders; accurately dispenses products in the computer system to generate a delivery ticket and/or prescription labels; confirms delivery tickets after delivery. Assists the pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies using appropriate techniques and following policies and procedures.Establish and continually build rapport with patient baseMonitor compliance/persistence of medicationsEvaluate adverse reactions of patientsExperience in providing customer service to internal and external customersProcess and verify patient benefits and pay options as neededRefer patients to clinical pharmacist or nurse as neededEnter and update new and refill orders into workflow systemsUpdate tracking logs with order status and shipping informationResponsible for all data entry into multiple workflow systems for end-to-end order process.Ensure timely processing of all patient orders per committed time framesPick, package, and ship patient ordersWork in collaboration with intake and MD officesIntermediate Knowledge of Microsoft Excel RequiredAbility to work well in a team environment and provide support to other team membersDetail oriented, ability to prioritize workload, multitask, and work well in a fast-paced environmentWork Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Elk Grove Village, Illinois and some days remote.
