Certified Pharmacy Technician Full Time

This is a Flex position; (morning, evenings, overnights) with shifts on every other weekend

Position Purpose

As a Pharmacy Technician you will work in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care under the direction of a licensed clinical professional in a clinic or practice environment. A Pharmacy Technician usually spends the day on their feet finding medications, counting, calculating, packaging, and labeling prescriptions.

What you will do:

Physicians orders are evaluated accurately for input into the pharmacy computer system
for all disease states and patient age groups.Incompatibility data, drug interaction data, and drug allergy information is thoroughly reviewed for each order processed.Adverse drug reactions reported are accurate and thorough.Orders input is timely and consistent with workload demands.All medications and intravenous solutions dispensed are checked for accuracy and completeness.All dispensed pharmaceuticals are accurately weighed, measured, admixed, and labeled properly.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have National Pharmacy Technician Certification or in Lieu of this Certification a Licensed Pharmacist Intern is required.Must be registered with the State of FL as a Pharmacy TechnicianHigh school diploma or equivalent is required.Minimum of two (2) years additional education and/or experience.
