The position of a Certified Police Officer is for private police contracting. A Certified Police Officer has skills that meet all state training requirements and who have completed additional specialized training. Education and certification of a Certified Police Officer includes specialized law enforcement training approved by the state.

What You’ll Do:

Provide Law Enforcement Services: Patrol the courthouse grounds, ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.Respond to Incidents: Act as a first responder, managing access to the facility and handling situations with professionalism and efficiency.Work in a Structured Environment: Unlike street patrols, this role offers a more predictable, stable work environment where your duties are clear and focused.

What We’re Looking For:

Age: 21+Education: High school diploma or GEDCertification: Certified sworn officer or completion of BLET (Basic Law Enforcement Training). Additional training is available for out-of-state candidates.Requirements: U.S. citizenship and a valid driver’s license.
