Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Description

This position provides anesthetic care in collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons, physicians, and medical professionals in every practice setting throughout UM Rehab & Ortho Institute.

The CRNA will administer anesthesia and anesthesia-related care in four general categories:

• Pre-anesthetic preparation and evaluation

• Anesthesia induction, maintenance and emergence

• Post-anesthesia care

• Peri-anesthetic and clinical support functions

 

Shift: Monday - Friday 12 hour shifts; Full Time, Days

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and graduation with a Master's degree from an accredited school of nurse anesthesia.

• Must hold current licensure from the Maryland State Board of Nurse Examiners to practice nursing and nurse anesthesia.

• Hold current certification or recertification from the National Board on Certification & Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).

• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
