Job Summary + The CRNA is accountable for providing anesthesia care for surgical and procedural patients within Avera Holy Family Education and/or Experience + Gra duate of an Associate of Science in Nursing Degree program, a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field required. + Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Nurse Anesthesia preferred. + Previous experience as a CRNA is preferred. Licensure/Certification/Registration + Upon hire + Licensed as an APRN in the State of Iowa and board certified or eligible from the National Board on Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists + Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) + Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) + Within three months + Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Iowa Mandatory Reporters and every three years thereafter. Work Schedule + Monday – Friday; 80 hours every 2 weeks + Day shift + On call every other weekend + On call every other holiday + Will be on call 24/7 every other week What Makes Avera Special?
