Responsibilities
CRNAs administer anesthesia and anesthesia-related care as members of the anesthesia care team. They provide/perform pre-anesthetic evaluations; anesthesia induction, maintenance and emergence; post-anesthesia care and follow-up and peri-anesthesia support. The CRNA also provides outfield support and services within the institution including: Obstetrics, the Emergency Department, and within the in-patient hospital setting.
Rotating on-call status.
Qualifications
Valid Minnesota registered nurse licensure
Master’s Degree or higher in nursing or a health-related field Ability to be Credentialed and privileged at Mayo Clinic Health System High level of creative problem solving and priority setting skills. Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance. Position requires call and working weekends, overtime and holidays. A Doctoral (DNP, DNAP, DrAP, PhD) degree preferred. Regional experience preferredLicense or Certifications:
Minnesota RN & APRN licenses
American Association of Nurse Anesthetist (AANA) certification or Board eligible
National Board CRNA certification (NBCRNA)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Rotating daily site schedule between core sites of Red Wing, Cannon Falls, and Lake City. Rotating weekly 24 hour call schedule.
Weekend Schedule
Rotating weekend call schedule with call coverage 0700 Friday-0700 Monday. 1:10 weekend rotation when fully staffed.
