Job Overview
Under the direction of the medical director, the Respiratory Therapist (RT) is responsible for the operation and overall direction of the pulmonary rehabilitation program. The RT ensures certification of the pulmonary rehabilitation program by establishing quality assurance measures and data driven outcomes. The RT establishes patient care plans and evaluates the efficacy of the plan for each individual patient and serves as a patient advocate and educator.
Qualifications Holds either a RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) credential through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).Successful completion of department specific orientation and certification of AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) at hire.
