Overview This position will be working at Medi Park Pharmacy This is a full time, 40 hour week work schedule Pharmacy hours are: Monday-Friday; 9:30am-6:00pm, will work every 6th weekend (Saturday 8:00am-4:00pm, Sunday 10:00am-6:30pm) POSITION SUMMARY: The Certified Pharmacy Technician II - Retail is responsible for assisting with and organizing ancillary retail pharmacy Specialty Programs. In addition, assists with processing provider medication orders utilizing prescribed procedures under the supervision of a Pharmacist. Work involves standing, lifting and walking continually while in the process of performing duties. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School/GED Specific Majors: At least 18 years of age Licenses/Certifications: PHTC-Pharmacy Tech PHTC2 - Pharmacy Tech Certification Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) validated by PTCB or National Healthcareer Certification Experience: 1 year of pharmacy technician experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications Other requirements/information: Proficient in all Certified Pharmacy Technician I job responsibilities. Intermediate computer skills. Demonstrates knowledge of pharmaceutical and medical terminolog. Proficient in performing and applying arithmetic calculations. Intermediate analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail-oriented. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development as well as the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
