Certified School Nurse
Salary: $ 45 – 55 / hour
A Certified School Nurse (CSN) is needed through our contracted school district near the Lombard area.
Key responsibilities of a CSN may include:Direct student care:
Assessing and treating minor illnesses and injuries, providing first aid, administering medications as prescribed, and managing emergencies.

Health screenings:
Conducting vision, hearing, and other required health screenings for students.
Chronic condition management:
Monitoring and coordinating care for students with chronic health conditions like diabetes, asthma, or seizures.

Communicable disease control:
Identifying and managing potential outbreaks of contagious diseases, educating students on hygiene practices.

Parent communication:
Contacting parents regarding student health concerns, obtaining necessary medical information, and collaborating on healthcare plans.

Health education:
Providing age-appropriate health education programs on topics like nutrition, hygiene, and substance abuse prevention.

Collaboration with school staff:
Working with teachers, administrators, and other staff to address student health needs and support their learning.

Record keeping:
Maintaining accurate and confidential student health records.
Compliance with regulations:
Adhering to state and district guidelines regarding student health and medication administration.
