The Psychiatric Screener individualizes the plan of care to address a specific patient's needs. Qualifications: Required: + MSW/MA degree in a related field, or BA/BS plus three years of prior experience in a psychiatric setting, one of which is in a crisis setting or enrolled in a Master's program with two years of prior experience in a psychiatric setting, one of which is in a crisis setting. + Must have the ability to work in stressful situations + MUST HAVE THREE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN MENTAL HEALTH SETTING POST-BA/BS DEGREE OR 1 YEAR POST MASTERS DEGREE, Certifications and Licenses Required: + Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required. Scheduling Requirements: + PT + Nights Essential Functions: + Works in harmony with other staff members of an interdisciplinary team, assisting the Patient Care Manager and others as needed, to achieve the best service possible to patients. + Responsible for supervising and assisting with patient care issues. + Following up on assigned tasks and for consistently setting and evaluating priorities, it is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments, i, e, damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas.
