As a CS/SPD Certified Technician, you will play a key role in how our operating rooms care for our patients as a whole team relies on you to successfully set up the operating room. You will be responsible for safe efficient practices for decontamination, instrument assembly, wrapping and sterilization of all reprocessed instruments, distribution equipment and case cart management. You will play an important role in supporting departmental initiatives to meet productivity standards and flexible staffing needs.

HS diploma or equivalent GED required.Certifications:
Sterile Processing Distribution certification(CRCST) by IAHCSMM or CBSPD required.Complexity of Work:
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Must be able to work in a stressful environment.Work Experience:
Prefer one year experience in central service/sterile processing areas and successful completion of recognized training program with certification in central service/sterile processing.Physical Requirements:
Lifts and carries items weighing up to 25 pounds and ability to push, pull and navigate supply carts weighing >than 75 pounds.Personal Protective Equipment:
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
