**Overview** As our Surgical Tech at Saint Joseph Mount Sterling, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, you’ll prepare the operating room for a variety of surgeries. We can’t operate without you. The operating room (OR) runs as a team; every person on the team has an important role that directly impacts the patient. Your success in this role comes from your adaptability and enthusiasm to work with a team taking patients from a diseased process to a healing process. + Prepare the operating room for assigned surgical procedures with proper instrumentation and sterilization + Navigate the nuances of surgical procedures and surgeons you’ll be supporting + Adapt to the needs of emergency situations + Provide clean-up and turnover of operating room to prepare for next patient \#hellosurgicaltechs **Qualifications** **Required Education:** + **Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program** **Required Licensure and Certifications:** + **NBSTSA or NCCT** + **Basic Life Support (BLS)** **Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** + **Manual dexterity and strong attention to detail.** + **Experience with varied high tech surgical equipment.** **PREFERRED Qualifications:** + **One year perioperative services experience preferred** **Pay Range** $29.74 - $29.74 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
