Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses. McLeod Health is also composed of approximately 15,000 team members and more than 90 physician practices throughout its 18-county service area. With seven hospitals, McLeod Health operates three Health and Fitness Centers, a Sports Medicine and Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, Hospice and Home Health Services. Essential Function
Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, provides routine and semi-complex nursing care to peri-operative patients. Provides a safe and therapeutic environment in providing for each surgical intervention. Collaborates with other health care team members and professionals to meet the patient’s surgical health care needs. Cleans, prepares, assembles, and stores equipment in the operating room. Works with procurement to inventory and stocks supply cabinets.Qualifications/Training
Successful completion of national certification exam before or within six (6) months of hire. BLS certifed (American Heart Association, or American Red Cross)Work Schedule
