High school diploma or equivalent successful completion of approved school of surgical technology.Minimum of one (1) year of hospital experience is preferred. (Requires on-the-job multi-component training.)On-going certification with Association of Surgical Technologists (AST) and/or National Board ofSurgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
