Qualifications for the Role:

You are a Certified Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant, with a minimum of two years in the sport horse industry with stellar horse handling abilities. Flexibility to travel between Long Island, New York and Wellington, Florida based on seasonal demands. Motivated, reliable, and organized individuals passionate about equine athletes. Proficiency in longeing, jogging horses, and adeptness in equine restraint techniques. Stellar communication skills, both within the team and with clients. Physical capability to lift 50+lbs. Valid driver's license, a pristine driving record, and successful background and drug screenings.

 

Work Schedule & Location:

Full-time and potentially part-time roles available. Weekend and after-hours availability is a must. Seasonal rotations: Long Island, N.Y. (May – October) Florida (late October – April) Work hours range between 40-50 hrs./week, with compensated overtime.
