**Job Title: Certified Welding Inspector** **Job Description** A Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of welded structures and products. The primary responsibilities involve inspecting welds to ensure they meet specified standards and requirements. Key tasks include conducting visual inspections of welded joints, verifying welding procedures, maintaining inspection records, conducting non-destructive testing, interpreting welding symbols and specifications, providing training to welding personnel, investigating welding defects, ensuring safety compliance, coordinating with project stakeholders, and staying updated on advancements in welding technology. **Hard Skills** + Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) certification + Dye Penetrant Testing Level 2 + Non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques including ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle testing (MT), and radiographic testing (RT) **Soft Skills** + Problem-solving + Interpretation of technical documents + Training and guidance provision + Collaboration and coordination + Continuous improvement **Job Type** This is a permanent position. **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Dallastown, Pennsylvania. **Work Environment** The work environment consists of a large manufacturing facility with multiple plants onsite. The facility is not climate controlled but is clean and organized. Departments include Weld/Fab, Machine Shop, Paint, and Assembly.
