**Job Title: Welding Inspector**
**Job Description**
Evaluates production operations from a strategic level to ensure that products meet quality, integrity, functionality, and other specifications and requirements.
**Responsibilities**
+ Utilize micrometers and calipers to assess production operations.
+ Evaluate test results and approve recommended changes.
+ Conduct inspections and quality control checks.
+ Periodically report the status of quality control and operations to executive leadership and, when required, to regulatory agencies.
**Essential Skills**
+ Quality control
+ Welding inspection
+ Blueprint reading
+ Utilization of calipers
+ AWS certification
+ 3 years of related QC experience in stainless steel and aluminum manufacturing
+ Level 2 Certifications or CWI
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with dimensional inspection
+ Experience in magnetic particle testing, dye penetrant testing, and PMI testing is a huge plus
+ Ability to work independently following established procedures
+ Self-starter with good interpersonal and communication skills

**Work Environment**
The work hours are Monday to Friday, from 6 am to 3:30 pm. The role involves hands-on use of micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools in a manufacturing setting. The environment supports independent work and encourages proactive problem-solving.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
