CFIUS Vendor Compliance Director

Vonage has created the Business Critical Transformation (BCT) Office to be responsible for driving and monitoring compliance against Vonage’s CFIUS (Committee on Foreign Investments in the United States) requirements following the acquisition of Vonage by Ericsson.  An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious CFIUS Vendor Compliance Director to join this growing team.

The CFIUS Vendor Compliance Director oversees the third-party engagement submissions for products, services, and maintenance contracts.  You will review vendor submissions and assess third party engagement requests against the compliance requirements. You will evaluate risks and controls while working closely with other team members to refine and improve the supporting processes.

What you will do:

Work with the broader vendor management team to build out the organization's processes when entering third-party agreements. Manage risk, assurance, and compliance activities with our third parties against the CFIUS requirements.  Gather information for the submissions for the third-party engagements while consulting with the internal and external Legal teams. Provide ongoing support by tracking and monitoring the third-party engagements throughout each process and submission process.  Evaluate the Purchase Orders and determine the appropriate CFIUS-related values to be assigned.  Collaborate with the Infosecurity, trade compliance, and legal teams to ensure third-party compliance with the Company’s operating policies and procedures under the CFIUS requirements.  Ensure the third-party controls are operational and functioning within the internal teams. Drive improvements in the lifecycle management of third-party relationships by identifying discrepancies and providing corrections where necessary. Manages the development and maintenance of controls implemented to support third-party compliance with the CFIUS requirements. Review, approve, or reject third-party resource requests in compliance with the CFIUS requirements. Develop service metrics and create reporting and dashboards.

What is Required:

Knowledge or experience with CFIUS a plus. Strong written, verbal and presentation skills required to effectively communicate vendor strategies at all levels, from administrative to the C-Suite. Ability to think strategically and objectively to effectively translate data into actionable insights, strategies and financial plans. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, growing environment. Strong ability to build relationships cross-functionally and partner with leaders to deliver solutions that meet the business needs. Very organized, self-motivated, and self-directed Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite programs Must work US location Holmdel, NJ or DC preferred, or within Eastern or Central time zones

 

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in business, finance or management Minimum of 10 years experience in supporting, managing, or assessing compliance against an enterprise-wide vendor management program or procurement sourcing, with specific knowledge of vendor risk management requirements What is in it for you:
