Description We are inviting applications for the role of CFO based in Basehor, Kansas. This role is integral to our team, where you will be primarily involved in the banking industry. You will be responsible for overseeing banking operations, managing financial reporting, and coordinating accounting close processes. Responsibilities include: • Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to facilitate strategic decision-making processes • Leading the accounting close process, ensuring that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date • Leveraging your finance skills to identify opportunities for financial growth and sustainability • Utilizing your extensive knowledge of the banking industry to guide financial strategies and operations • Collaborating with various departments to ensure financial goals align with overall company objectives • Providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization • Ensuring effective internal controls are in place and compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting. Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 8 years of experience in a senior financial role with 3 years in a leadership level position • Proven expertise in the Banking Industry and Banking Operation • Proficient in Financial Reporting and Finance • Strong understanding of the Accounting close process • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Must have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA or relevant certification would be a plus • High ethical standards and professionalism, with a commitment to corporate governance • Proficient in using financial software and databases • Proven ability to manage budgets and risk • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments in the company.
