Description We are on the hunt for a CFO to join our client in the apparel industry based in Newark, New Jersey. This will be a hybrid position with some travel to NYC once a week. Ideal CFO must have experience working for an apparel or similar product. Ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, ability to lead and mentor a team, and must be able to present to the C Suite in the company. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing accounting functions, auditing, and budget processes, Human Resources, as well as managing business systems and CRM. The role also entails capital management and cash flow analysis. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage all accounting functions within the organization including Accounts Receivable/chargebacks, Accounts Payable, Human Resources, and Finance. • Utilize accounting software systems to ensure efficient financial operations • Conduct regular auditing to check the accuracy of financial information and procedures • Develop, implement, and monitor budget processes to align with the company's financial goals • Handle capital management to maintain the company's financial stability • Conduct cash flow analysis to monitor the company's financial status • Implement and manage business systems to optimize operations • Oversee the use of CRM to improve customer relationship management • Oversee the factor and asset based lending • Prepare financial statements Requirements • Must have come out of an apparel industry • Experience with Accounting Software Systems is essential. • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance • Must have knowledge of Business systems. • CPA or MBA is a plus • Should possess skills in Accounting Functions. • 15+ years of related experience • Must have an understanding of Budget Processes. • Factor experience required • Strong leadership skills Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
