Purpose of the job

Being responsible for the affiliate business plan as well as forecasting / outlook processes, the Finance Manager will ensure excellent financial management within the affiliate. She/He will partner with the affiliate management by providing meaningful reports and analysis, consultancy, recommendations to drive good business decisions and resource allocations. She / He will ensure a good cooperation with departments across affiliate as well as with the regional financial functions.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Business Partner

· Partner with affiliate Lead Team to create strategy and translate it into operations.

· Direct management of the affiliate finance analyst as well as oversight of the affiliate finance team (local, remote or outsourced)

· Lead and consolidate short, mid, and long-term forecasting processes for sales, OPEX, and other financial areas of the affiliate

· Prepare Monthly results generation, deviation analyses, trending, risks & opportunities, force outs and present to affiliate LeadTeam

· Review of spent and decisions for investments (incl transactions review for closing)

· Provide finance input for business cases, Buy ups, QPR, Hub visits, Brand reviews - other requiring financial analysis support

· Understand the market, competitors and source of business

· Represent Finance in local Leadteam , co-own Internal Control Committee with local Compliance (preparation, presentation, follow ups)

Internal Control:

· Implementation, localization and enforcement of Corporate/CEE/local financial policies

· Take part in month end/year end closing: allocations, ICO, review open Pos, accruals, physical inventory and liase with CEE GA/Tax controller;

· First point of contact for authorities (statutory, tax) Internal price submissions, business cases and tenders support

· Follows and ensures compliance with ethical and legal guidelines i.e. GPP, Red Book, FRAP, etc.

· Legislative and operational updates

Procurement:

· Act as Procurement Lead at Affiliate: Implementation of procurement policy and procedures, global contracts localization, preferred vendor list regular update/revision, new vendors approval, management of yearly risk assessment, Aravo champion, participation in negotiations on key contracts

Supply Chain:

· Relationship management with distribution partners, ensure up to date contracts with distributors and also approvals in place in Aravo

· Oversight of supply chain and order to cash activities for the affiliate

Education, training and/or experience

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred

· 5 to 8 years’ experience in a finance management role, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

Essential skills:

· Good accounting knowledge (US-GAAP/statutory)

· Good analytical skills and affinity to process improvements

· Familiarity with AI, automation, and other technological advancements in finance operations.

· Fluency in English

· Excellent communication skills

· Ability to work in virtual team (with SSC in Ireland)

· MS-Office, incl. Outlook
